Disasters of War
I started protesting wars as soon as I started painting in the early 2000s. I had seen Goya’s Disasters of War. They shocked me. I was never the same. Goya has touched all of my work ever since. I keep coming back to the brutality of war, and have painted more than 25 images as part of this collection. The five paintings you see here have been selected with HALO to accompany the forthcoming audio interview with OrcaRadio.org and HALO.
